Hercules on a search and rescue

...or should I say my job ate my marathon!

On Tuesday June 12, I got launched for a search and rescue mission 400 miles NW of Iqualuit,  Nunavut.  We were tasked to search for a missing Inuit hunter. We searched and searched and searched...... At one point we had two Hercules aircrafts and a Cormorant helicopter. The Rescue Coordination Center ended the search on June 17 at about 20:00hrs
local time in Iqualuit.

I was back home this morning, June 18 at 0430...missed the marathon start time by 19 and a half hour.
