Okay perhaps it is too short a time frame (120 years) and perhaps we should be looking over thousands and millions of years. Now I don't know if Wikipedia information is always true but here is information contributed by a number of folks about Global Warming

.....and if you are wondering if this is just an anomaly or man's contribution to the temperature effects here is a chart showing an analogy of CO2 and temperature. Scientist are able to extract O2 isotopes from core samples (see Dr Tracy Shimmield in the Team Page) and measure the CO2 content and date it. It is like Carbon dating of historic artefacts.
